Strong Tomorrows with Children Project Kicked Off in Seville

Coordinated by Asociación LEGO, the Erasmus+ KA152 Youth Exchange project “Strong Tomorrows with Children” is being implemented in Seville, Spain, between 08–14 October 2025 under the reference number 2025-1-ES02-KA152-YOU-000297708. The project brings together young people from Spain, Türkiye, Albania, Hungary, and Ukraine with the aim of raising awareness about the challenges faced by children living in child protection institutions and strengthening young people's sense of social responsibility.

During the first activities of the project, participants had the opportunity to get to know one another through a variety of ice-breaking games and group exercises. Young people from different cultural backgrounds developed their communication, teamwork, and intercultural learning skills while creating a positive and trusting environment for the days ahead. These activities laid the foundation for effective cooperation throughout the project.

Participants then engaged with local residents in Seville to explore public perceptions of the Erasmus+ Programme and the living conditions of children in child protection institutions. Through interviews and field research, they gained valuable experience in data collection, observation, communication, and critical thinking. At the same time, direct interaction with the local community fostered intercultural dialogue and mutual understanding.

The programme also included informative sessions on Youthpass and the opportunities offered by Erasmus+. Participants learned about the importance of Youthpass for personal and professional development, as well as the eight key competences that they would strengthen throughout the project. Interactive group discussions, creative exercises, and role-play activities helped participants better understand these concepts and reflect on their own learning processes.

Another highlight of the day was a collaborative poster-design activity aimed at promoting Erasmus+ values and increasing awareness of the project's theme. Participants created visual messages and slogans supporting the social inclusion and well-being of children, while also showcasing the spirit of international cooperation. The day concluded with reflection and evaluation sessions, allowing participants to assess their learning outcomes, share feedback, and further deepen their understanding of social inclusion, active citizenship, and intercultural cooperation.
