Strong Tomorrows with Children - Project Concludes with a Lasting Impact on Child Protection and Social Responsibility

The “Strong Tomorrows with Children” project, coordinated by Asociación LEGO, was implemented in Seville, Spain, from 08–14 October 2025 under the Erasmus+ KA152 Youth Exchange programme with the reference number 2025-1-ES02-KA152-YOU-000297708. Bringing together participants from Albania, Hungary, Spain, Türkiye, Ukraine, the project aimed to raise awareness about the needs of children living in child protection institutions, strengthen young people's sense of social responsibility, and promote the exchange of good practices among participating countries. Throughout the mobility, participants explored child protection systems, volunteering, active citizenship, and intercultural cooperation while developing practical approaches to supporting vulnerable children.

Throughout the project, participants took part in workshops, training sessions, and interactive activities focusing on child rights, volunteering, active citizenship, social equality, and intercultural learning. Young people from different countries exchanged experiences, shared good practices, and discussed the importance of ensuring that every child grows up in a safe, supportive, and empowering environment. Visits to local institutions, awareness-raising activities, and meetings with stakeholders further enriched participants' understanding of child welfare and social inclusion.

The central message of the project was the important role young people can play in supporting children's development and creating more inclusive communities. Through volunteering-based initiatives, policy discussions, storytelling activities, and intercultural exchange, participants strengthened their commitment to social responsibility while promoting values such as cultural diversity, tolerance, solidarity, empathy, and mutual understanding.

The project also provided valuable opportunities for participants to improve their communication, teamwork, leadership, and intercultural competences while increasing their awareness of the opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ Programme and the Youthpass process. By learning from one another and collaborating across cultures, participants gained practical skills that will support their future educational, professional, and civic engagement.

Strong Tomorrows with Children concluded by leaving participants with a deeper understanding of child rights, social inclusion, and active citizenship. Beyond the knowledge and skills gained, the project inspired young people to become more engaged volunteers, advocates for children's well-being, and active contributors to building a more equal, inclusive, and caring society for future generations.
